Fillformat is an experimental digital typeface inspired by blackletter. Fillformat can be stretched to fill the format flexibly. Unlike other traditional typeface, Fillformat is untamed and modern with the different widths of the upper and lower case. I also design a RISO-printed font guidebook, and a installation.
Fillformat是一个实验拉丁文字体。灵感来源于中世纪哥特风格字体，利用平头笔书写，保留其书写特征，转化为数位使用。不同于传统字体，Fillformat中的大写字母可自由拉伸宽度，小写字母可自由拉升字高，以适应不同样式及使用场景，为实现“填充”“版块”，提供了另一种解决方案。Fillformat的不同字宽，也赋予其野生、现代的个性。我利用孔板印刷为字体也制作了一本使用指引手册，以及展示其变化的一个小装置。
